These beans were the first cocoa beans designated certified “Heirloom” by the Heirloom Cacao Preservation Initiative (HCP). Grown in the Alto Beni, Bolivia region and Volker provides to us are delicious. No other word for them. They are clean, well processed and the genetics of the trees themselves are fantastic.
The chocolate has delicious flavours of deep fudge overlaid by dried fruit, honey and coffee.
